  Our son attended this school from Kindergarten through 4th grade and K-3 was great. Once he started 4th grade it was a completely different story. After care for younger students made sure all the kids finished their homework. After care for the 4th graders was a joke. It got to the point where we had to take our son out of after care and enroll him somewhere else because he kept coming home with either incomplete homework or subjects that weren't even started. And when it comes to homework every teacher from K-3 made sure to keep in touch with us to stay on top of his assignments so if he ever fell behind in anything he could catch up immediately. In the 4th grade he would go weeks without handing in an assignment before the first note would get sent home to us. And if that note wasn't returned, then a follow up wouldn't get initiated. It became painfully clear that we should have taken our son out after he finished 3rd grade because the piss poor, lackadaisical attitude of the 4th grade staff only hurts the education of the students. And when some of the teachers are approached with concerns of this stand-off behavior they put the blame on the children. I only hope the school either gets their act together or parents start taking their kids out of the school completely once completing the 3rd grade.
